essay : Innocence and Fear are two concepts which would ideally coincide with each other. However, this may not always be the case.
In the perspective of Law, innocence is a luxury taken by anyone until the state of guilt may be proven completely. In this instance, the innocent can then be provided with complacence and safety from fear of execution. However, fear of execution from the law will not necessarily translate into fear of execution and persecution from other forces, such as the opposition or contending party. In this case, the innocent will not be safe-guarded from persecution from other forces other than law.
In a philosophical sense, innocence can be defined as the clear-minded and naive disposition of a person. In this sense, the innocent will be hovered over with the fear of their own innocence being taken from them. In this situation, with the state of being innocent given as a luxury, they do certainly have something to fear: their innocence being stripped from them.
